Aww, I See Now

I promise we didnt forget about you, yes we're taking this to a personal level- you. To whoevers a regular, or if its just your first time, we wanna throw down a sincere 'thank-you' for providing Clarity with your support.

To clear up any confusion, we've embarked on a mission; one that means a lot to us. We want to get out what we do, and how we do it. Our first line of tees should be dropping within the next couple of months, be sure to check back every week or so just to see where we're at. We'll be more vigilant with product updates. Currently, we've got some designs in mind, and are working on finalizing a couple of them. Hopefully the sticker will be perfected and we can get that out to everybody asap. Clarity, while we want to get out our thoughts on whats up and down in general, we're also out to give the streetwear game our take on things. Its gonna be a long time comin, but it'll happen. That is why we want to hand out some serious thank yous to whoever is out there for our support. We need it.

In other news;

Ryno and I recently took a trip up to seattle, and while we were up there we had to hit up Goods. Its a pretty sleek boutique, sorry for the bad rhyme, and not to mention the guys there arent dicks. If you wanna check it out head over to needgoods.


An even of epic proportions was recently announced; Dave Grohl has decided to bring his Foo to Portland this July. in case you were wondering, we will be in the mosh in front of the stage. Will you?



Thats about it for now, we'll try to update a bit more frequently with designs and tees and when and were stuff will be dropping. As for the track of the day goes, we'll throw out a little teaser for our first tee, you already know about that reality check, and if you dont, step your game up- but we decided to throw out some honest expression

For those of you who thought you had something better to do and, therefore, missed it; Rob and Big this week was epic.Rob effectively broke 21 world skate records in one day. ONE DAY. 21.

and Christopher 'Big Black' Boykins broke 2 world records: 3 bananas peeled and eaten in under a minute as well as 5 powdered doughnuts consumed in under three minutes WITHOUT LICKING HIS LIPS. All I gotta say is do work son. I'm not much of a TV person, but you will find me posted on a couch somewhere every tuesday night wondering how many dudes Rob is gonna net (word to spiderman).

In other news, Mitt Romney has dropped out of the presidential race. It was a sad day for those of us in the LDS contingency. All I know is, it looks like the nation is ready for a democrat to lead us. And out of those present, it seems like Obama is the choice candidate. I'll be honest, Im more of a right wing kinda guy, Ryans a bit of the opposite, but we here at Clarity would prefer to foster a positive neutral environment, free of political tension.

Since the purpose of this is to keep everybody up-to-date on Clarity and what we're working on doing, I'm happy to say we've almost got our first sticker completed. If you got here by clicking the CLARITY link on my myspace, then youve seen the rough draft. We just need to finalize some things, head to paper zone, and then they'll be ready for the public. Also, we've got some solid designs for tees in the making, we're working on getting the supplies and resources needed in order to get this done. Im sure The Zesty can agree, we're pretty excited, so keep a look out for some Clarity gear comin soon.

Long Time No Talk

sorry everybody for the lack of posts, schools been pretty hectic lately and ryno and I both have been doin work tryin to keep up with everything. I thought that while I was up though and I've got a day off tomorrow for MLK that I'd write up a quick post.

I dont really have anything super specific/insightful to talk about at the moment, but since this is Clarity I thought I'd talk about a little bit that I've been able to have recently (have some clarity that is). In the past year or so I've been doing some 'soul searching' if you will- just tryin to figure out my outlook on life, and have been trying to make some changes in how I see things, how I deal with things, how I take things; because we all know that its all in perspective. I used to waste my time holding onto things that had come and gone, and I had also gotten into the habit of looking too far ahead. In doing these things I missed what was going on right before my eyes. my advice to you is to refrain from doing either of these things.
Ive learned to take things as they come, and life my life day by day. Im a much happier guy because of it. Ive had some really great conversations this week with people that are important to me, I wont go into much detail but theyve led me to a calm that I forgot I could reach. thanks to you who reminded me of that, Im not sure if you read this, but you know who you are.

like I said, I dont have anything really specific to say, but I hope that everybody can find that clarity that theyre looking for, cause once you do-youll be one happy camper.

Blue Skies

Today Ryno and I went downtown and hit up 23rd street. While Ryan couldnt get the right size P-Rods he was looking for, I did cop a pretty sick M-65 jacket I'd been looking for, but thats besides the point. As we walked out of the little mexican resturant we had lunch in, we looked up and caught a glimpse of a naturally absent blue sky. For those of you who arent from Portland, during the winter months you dont see the sky. Its straight rain clouds. A blue sky brightens anyones day, and if it doesnt you should really get out more- lets just be honest.




Speaking of that mexican food, it was absolutely bomb, and the salsa was some of the best Ive ever tasted.



Last thing I'll say about food, we also found this little gelato spot, and after going in there I never want regular ice cream again. Look up gelato if you dont know what it is.

I did something I dont normally do tonight and that was go to a church that wasnt my own, I went to The Way with Ryan, Ian, Nick Derrah, and Kirk, it was different, but I enjoyed myself. Im a known skeptic of Christian music, but I really like this stuff, check Telecast out on myspace if you get a second.
